Ss worked on a more difficult version of the level 1 high class - they examined food labels and learned new terms in the process.

New words: GMO, genetic engineering, without, perservatives (pron), tasty vs. taste. food poisoning, shellfish

It was interesting to discuss USDA organic. Student thought it meant that something was made in the USA. But Mauricio and Rosi pointed out that it's the same as 'agricultura' - ie when Citarella gets inspected. I asked if they knew what it stood for and Mauricio beautifully expressed what the acronym means. He continues to impress.
