We learned about WILL today and when we use it. This is complicated for learners because they tend to use 'going to' when they should use 'will' - so we start to teach it by using it within the context of predictions. Here are some predictions students made:
- Mauricio will get a promotion soon. (Rosy)
- Jose P will go to bed at 11pm. (Mauricio)
- Victor will buy something expensive this weekend. (Jaime)
Maricel had a big 'aha! moment' when she finally understood that when she sees the contraction I'll or we'll it means I will or We will. She was super excited to make the connection.
