Level 2 - 5:30am
Small class today! This week students learned about the difference between 2 types of adjectives:
- boring v bored
- exciting v excited
- frustrating v frustrated
Commonly misused words. At the end of class, we played a game called 12/12. A 12-sided dice was rolled 2 times. The first time corresponded with the word that needed to be used. The second time was the number of words that needed to be in the sentence. Everyone was sufficiently challenged by the limitations. Here's a great example.
Rosy wrote: Rosy wasn't bored because she studied. (she used a contraction to make her sentence fit the 6-word guideline)
Nice, focused effort!
