LEVEL 1A [BEGINNER]
Lorenzo/Cut Produce was having a difficult time with the difference between 'c' and 'z'—"Teacher! I have big confusion with these ones."—and other students agreed. Everyone had trouble with the pronunciation for, B vs V; M vs N; L vs R; C vs Z; K vs Q; A, E, I, O, U vs A, E, I, O, U... We ended up having a lot of laughs while students were trying to orally spell things which made it very memorable—especially all the confusion with the vowels!
LEVEL 1B [HIGH BEGINNER]
Derwin/Pastry did a great job remembering past question formation. He also remembered that 'don't' changes to 'doesn't' for the third person in present. When students were introducing their classmates from our warm-up activity, Derwin actually corrected a few of his classmates on 'don't' vs 'doesn't.' Bravo!
