Level 2/3 FOH - Thursday

11/9/2017

Today, ss had to understand pitch changes in pronunciation and then respond to an incorrect order using flavor adjectives.

Giovanni came up with a great idea for something "tart"—red wine. It was easy to compare this then with "sour." He had an ah-ha moment, "So if customers say something is sour, like their wine, it's not a good thing!"—Ss across the board confuse tend to confused tart with sour.

Ramon did an excellent job today. He got all of the answers on the reference sheet correct on the first try. He finished his sentence scramble correctly first, and he participated a lot with some great ideas (especially during a brainstorm for things that are bitter—endive, radicchio, watercress, arugula, espresso).
