This week, students had to use adjectives to describe a dish and take notes on a dish description.

Ss couldn't decide whether adjectives like: breaded, sliced, fried, and floured were quality, texture, or material adjectives. They had good arguments for all 3. They said they wanted to get to the bottom of it though because, to quote Fidel, "This is important. We use words like this at work all the time."

Fidel and Salvador did a great job today answering questions and asking good ones too. They helped out Daniel and David. Salvador did a explained why the verb needed to be where it was. "'The are' doesn't make sense. The what? See? You need to put the noun you are talking about after the word 'the' and THEN you put the verb." Great team work.
