Wilson - Making Connections

Students worked on identifying the Subject and the Predicate of a sentence and the main idea of a paragraph. Wilson noticed that sometimes words switch their traditional roles. In the sentence, “The car ride was 8 hours long.", Wilson said, “Car is usually a noun but now it’s like an adjective! It describes the ride and ride is the subject!”

New words today were: grind, worry, contest, and viewer.
