Buddy vs Body

This week in class students were introduced to the names of various body parts. This is something that connects deeply with the workplace. Expressions like "I need hands!" and "watch your fingers!" are common in the kitchen.

When we talked about what the word "body" means, Henry asked "buddy?" and said "everyday the cooks say 'Hey buddy'". I explained that their different. Buddy means friend.

Everyone nodded their head and were relieved to have learned the meaning of another word they hear often in the kitchen.

Ay, no! vs. I know!

I get it!
