This week students learned about the future! More specifically - they learned about how to make predictions using the verb tense with WILL.
They were little confused at first about the difference between "going to" and "will".
Also, students are starting to notice question formations. Jose M. wanted to know why it says "Tomorrow I'M STARTING my new position" to talk about the future. He asked "This is present continuous, no? Why does it say tomorrow? A good distinction Diana made was 'will' = not sure and 'going to' = sure.
So the 2 questions "What do you think will happen at work tomorrow?" versus "Where will you be this time next year?" require different verb tenses to answer.
