hear, here, her, hair

Level 1 - Monday

Great class on Monday! We started out with a quick vocab quiz and then moved right into our lesson about possessive pronouns. my, your, her, his, our, their. Besides the ubiquitous my, other pronouns can be tricky so we worked hard on pronunication - namely the distinction between hear, here, her, and hair.

Blanca wanted to know what 'hear' means but got confused when she compared it to 'listen'. Melesio came up with a great example to explain the difference between hear and listen. "I listen to music in my headphones. I hear the music upstairs because it's far away."

Really nice class with a lot of great questions!
